My wife, Holly, and I have been traveling down to the 30a area for over 40 years. My first experience, like so many others, was a wild week in Panama City during spring break. I have so many memories from those times and was lucky enough to develop lifelong friends and live through it. Soon, thereafter, 30a started taking off. Visiting the different “towns” was awesome. Holly and I actually got married at Watercolor during the hot month of July!! Through it all, I never really wanted to own a place. I figured that it was fun to visit, and the variety was nice. During the spring of 2022, we decided to spend Spring Break in Grayton Beach, a place that I only knew as the place RED BAR was located, as we went there numerous times. We rented a small cottage that was around 90 years old. The trip and the cottage were amazing. I literally looked at Holly and said, “If you ever wanted to own a place down here, this is the place where I would agree with you 😊”.  We bought a place in MAY! Our goal was to have a small, simple, clean place in an amazing location. We feel like we are accomplished that goal. GRAYT FUN has an amazing history as it was one of the first cottages built in the area, even before electricity was actually offered at Grayton Beach.
